"Protect body method"
what means self-defense.
RANK REQUIREMENTS
The total mininum amounts of self defense
techniques required for each level are:
For 1st Dan: 40
For 2nd Dan: 50
For 3rd Dan: 60
For 4th Dan: 70
For 5th Dan: 80
For 6th Dan: 90
For 7th Dan: 100
For 8th Dan: 110
For 9th Dan: 120
For 10th Dan: 130
Therefore, only a mininum of 130 techniques are
needed to demonstrate, for the rank of 10th Dan !
We do not believe in junior Black Belts, so for 1st Dan,
the person have to be 18 years or older !
Beside of that,
the I.H.S.S.A. does not have any further minimum age
required for all Dan ranks.
The time requirement is a
one year minimum between the promotion tests.
